the Japanese art "manga" / Story / Characters & Drawing / Products
Introduction :
The story of the manga:
The manga are comics created in japan. This art was not created recently, but instead appeared for a very long time in the 18th century in 1717, but it was not as modern as it knew a classic look. This form, was modified thanks to the mangaka (the author) Osamu Tezuka in 1945, and they are known with a long and complex history.
Characters & Drawing:
The characters of the manga are known with their big eyes,
which makes it possible to reinforce the expressiveness of the face. and small mouth, and with their long hair. here is an example:
The hero is the key to your manga: it is he who builds history and it is to him that the readers will identify themselves.
The manga is almost always in black and white which is directly linked to the prepublication system in cheap magazine. and are generally read in the original direction (from right to left)
Drawing, in general, is less "static" than in Western comics. The manga uses a temporal division close to that of the cinema, often adopting its frames and using a similar decomposition of time and action.
Can go so far as to evolve the characters in a white decor. This bias has the consequence of focusing the reader's attention on history in general and dialogues in particular. We thus note a certain resurgence of the theatrical aspect. Finally, the characters often have expressive attitudes to the extreme: anger, jealousy or embarrassment are easily demonstrated, whereas this attitude is rather poorly seen in Japanese culture, where calm and restraint are de rigueur in social relations . The passage from absurdism and comedy to seriousness or drama, without any transition, is also part of the narrative, without ever provoking questions from the reader who accepts this reading convention in advance.
